Voices Behind The Leash

Fashion can speak. More than fabric, more than form, it can tell a story. My final collection, Voices Behind the Leash, brings together my two loves, fashion and animals, while standing up against animal cruelty. This collection celebrates the happiness of rescued dogs, capturing their bright, uplifting energy once they’ve found a new forever home. I created matching outfits for humans and their dogs to celebrate the bond they share. I’m inspired by bold, vibrant silhouettes and unexpected choices, like putting men in pinks or wrap skirts. Fashion, for me, is about  challenging rules both the unspoken rules within fashion and the bigger societal pressures. Just as rescued animals are silenced by the systems people put them in, people can feel trapped by restrictive ideas of how they should look or act. Through my designs, I hope to inspire freedom, self-expression, and a world where both people and animals can thrive without limits.
