Debrief 2025

My Communication Design project reimagined the Debrief 2024 exhibition identity for Debrief 2025, the annual showcase celebrating creativity across all design disciplines at Otago Polytechnic, including postgraduate ākonga and Best Awards recipients. I will be honest I didn’t expect to fall in love with this project, but somewhere between brand strategy, file systems, and late-night brainstorms, I found my rhythm. I discovered how much I thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments where ideas spark and teamwork fuels creativity.

Throughout this process, I learned to balance leadership, organisation, and creative thinking while coordinating communication between teams and lecturers. I also managed timelines and delivered diverse outcomes, including brand systems, posters, a yearbook, merchandise, and digital campaigns. This project strengthened my confidence, refined my design voice, and showed me the value of connecting people, purpose, and process. Now, I’m drawn to bold, people-driven projects like exhibitions and event marketing, where design feels alive and meaningful.
