Ngāti Kahungunu, Rangitāne, Tainui Waikato, Te Rarawa. As a designer my intention always is to uplift through my mahi, it is a deeply personal creative practice — rooted in whakapapa and wairua, and shaped by my lived experiences. My latest collection was born during a vibrant spring summer season in Italy, where I drew inspiration from living amongst the expressive and spirited Italian people and their way of life.

Drawn to Renaissance art and architecture, I explored romantic, feminine silhouettes enriched by luxurious fabrics and bold colour combinations to convey the Italian essence that I experienced. Crystals, placed with intention on each garment, connect the wearer to their own spiritual energy, reflecting my Māori worldview and the belief that the earth and what we wear can carry healing power. This collection celebrates joy, creativity, and soulful connection — luxurious yet grounded, playful yet meaningful, blending cultural storytelling with a utopian vision of the future.
