ALL EYES ON YOU

My graduate collection, “All Eyes on You,” is a love letter to my favourite things: women, size inclusivity, and horror. The collection looks at the intersections of being a plus-sized woman through the lens of horror. I wanted to convey the feeling of being watched and observed by society, leaning on old Gothic horror aesthetics through drape and fabric manipulation to create a size-inclusive lineup. Sustainability and diversity are key values of my design; I like to work with second-hand materials as much as possible and try to employ a zero-waste approach while making. As a plus-size designer, size inclusivity is a key value in my design. I work with an extended size range to showcase and celebrate bodies we don’t typically see on the runway. I design for myself and what I love, expressing my interests through my designs.
