People are at the heart of everything I do. As a designer and storyteller, I’m driven by the power of communication and connection. During my internship with the Marketing, Communications and Engagement team at Otago Polytechnic, I was tasked with capturing the student experience through both short-form and long-form video content. Being a student myself and having lived in Ōtepoti my whole life, I brought a deep local perspective to the stories I shared, highlighting the unique gems of Otago Polytechnic and the vibrant student life that thrives here. My approach to content creation is people-focused and purposeful. I believe in producing sharable, meaningful content that adds value rather than contributing to digital noise. Social media has the power to connect people across ages and places, and I strive to use design as a tool for relatability and connection.
