In-House Internship

A creative whirlwind of projects and experimentation is how I would define my experience in the in-house internship here at Otago Polytechnic. I built upon my existing skill set of technical abilities from learning how to use the risograph printer, to designing my magazine through mixed media, in-design and manual techniques.

This student-led magazine pitch for the School of Design, allowed collaboration between a range of learners and brought them together into a unique creative space to share their knowledge.

Working in a fast-paced internship focused my attention to detail and gave me the ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines. The print room environment grew my love for design, as I witnessed firsthand how thoughtful the process is for ideas and designs that can come to life through print. I’m excited to continue designing with these new skills in mind and bring these learnings into my future work.
