Project: Debrief Exhibition

Utilising the skills I have developed over the past three years, I was one of the designers of Debrief 2025, the graduate exhibition for the School of Design at Otago Polytechnic.

My role involved establishing the creative direction, which shaped the overall visual identity of the event. This included designing the event poster, yearbook cover, and graduate website to make the exhibition more memorable, as well as leading a guerrilla campaign to ensure cohesion across both print and digital media.

To create a more interactive spatial experience, I designed the Shadow Wall, a light installation that transforms visitors’ shadows into pixels, reinforcing the exhibition’s overarching concept.

Through my design work, I aimed to develop a visual system that was distinctive, adaptable, and engaging, enhancing interaction. Bringing Debrief 2025 to life was an enriching experience that combined creativity, strategy, and collaboration to translate conceptual ideas into a powerful and impactful identity.
