I think that design is about problem-solving and creativity. I am often inspired by shapes, architecture and texture. I like playing with silhouettes, proportion, colour and different surfaces. To me, design is two-thirds fantasy and one-third reality. My strengths lie in designing, pattern making, digital pattern making, construction and graphic design. I also have a good eye for fashion.
As I have moved to New Zealand from China I have a cross-cultural respect of fashion. In ten years I aim to be an internationally-famous designer. For now I am just making it come true!
