Melissa Clegg

My influences range from the perfection of nature to the form of a city. How people feel in their environment also influences the way I design. Strong structural forms and linear line give a clear sense of power, stability and balance within a design.
The way people move through a space should be natural enough that they don’t realise there are design elements leading them. The arts and craft movement focuses on the entrance way and the perception of the space on entry. This is just one movement that inspires me.
