Alan Baxter

Design is a fat-bodied, two-headed beast; the one to the right being the bad and the one to the left, the good. The bad is the unnecessary; products made only to exist. The good is designed with the intent to enhance the capabilities of someone or something’s life and create an experience beyond just the physical form. Design for me is all about process and context. For me, the bad head was trimmed long ago.
I try to learn as much as I can, taking everything in and refining it down, trimming the fat all the way.
