Ethical and environmentally friendly fashion is not an unrealistic dream. My design process has examined key ideas behind slow fashion, a designer-maker method, and commercial sustainability. These aim to address improving conditions in the textile industry from production through to a garment’s end of life. Driven by a strong aesthetic, these concepts aim to increase the value of clothing for each wearer and result in perpetual styles that are balanced between wearability and innovation.
