As a designer, it is my aim to encourage a different way of perceiving what masculinity can be. My designs intend to question the sexual semiotics of clothing by breaking the rules we associate with gender expression. The process evolves through a mix of tailoring and TR cutting to inform silhouettes that reference tradition through a contemporary and fashion forward lens. My approach takes inspiration from a designer-maker ethos by which the hand craft of the designer can always be seen in each garment.
