As a designer and entrepreneur, I am always looking for the next challenge in life to broaden my skill set. This is why I felt it was a great step in my career to take the opportunity to live in Wellington for four months and take part in the Mahuki accelerator program powered by Te Papa. This is an environment where I have been able to learn and grow as a person thanks to the amazing support network they provide. Through this project, I have become a founding director and CEO of my own viable business, Merge Creative Agency, which creates Augmented Reality game Apps that create experiences and peer social engagement over individual reflection.
I have been part of creating the minimal viable product by designing the storyline, game app wireframes and collaborating on the overall look and feel, while also working with our mentors on creating a viable sustainable business.
