Postgraduate Certificate in Design – Legal Issues Centre (LIC)

A student summer scholarship allowed me to be involved with the Legal Issues Centre (LIC) Understanding Legal Processes project. Based at the University of Otago, LIC is an interdisciplinary research centre that conducts independent research on New Zealand’s justice system. For my part, the project involved developing short animated videos which assist the public’s understanding of legal processes related to litigation. I reviewed scripts, developed storyboards, recorded voice actors and learned Adobe Animate — new animation software to me — to create a whole new suite of animations. This was my project for the Postgraduate Certificate of Design.
