Growing up, my parents and grandparents were all artistically inclined in one way or another. This inspired my longing to become a designer from a young age. My art is often a commentary on social issues surrounding beauty, beliefs and growing up. Focusing mainly on branding and photography, I have taken inspiration from the gothic grandeur of Dunedin and the warmth and freedom of my hometown, Hawkes Bay. My goal is to help people grow their dreams, whether it be branding for businesses or preserving memories with a photoshoot. Versatility is the most important tool for a designer — harnessing the ability to step into someone else’s shoes and bring their visions to life. That is why I am a designer.
