Gardens by the Bay
As a designer, I have become increasingly aware of the impact the fashion industry is having on our planet. To counteract this, I have created a made-to-measure collection that is beautiful and practical.
Using natural fibres to produce garments that are comfortable to wear, fit properly while also being a little bit sexy and fun. I wanted to show off my skills as a Textile Designer, with vibrant colours and bold patterns incorporated with sleek and elegant silhouettes to allow the fabric to do the talking.
I also wanted to show my collection using a range of models of different ages, sizes, and ethnicities, to reflect the variety of the beautiful wahine of Aotearoa New Zealand.
