For me, design is the opportunity to create. My collection ‘The Light at the End of the Tunnel’ celebrates my time at Otago Polytechnic. I want to use design to spark creativity in others, show that there is more than one right way to do things, and if you’ve had fun and enjoyed the process that’s a great design outcome. Designing and creating go hand in hand, and even when it’s challenging, and you can’t see a way forward, there will always be a light at the end of the tunnel.
