Growing up in a small town I found fun in painting, photography and fashion but few opportunities surrounding design. My Communication Design degree was a fantastic way to turn my hobbies into something that was meaningful and had purpose, and allowed me to grow and experiment with different media and styles. I discovered an unexpected passion for web design, and this led to my internship at Firebrand where I developed web skills in a professional agency-led environment. This was an incredible opportunity as I challenged myself to learn and evolve as a designer, while still satisfying my childhood passions.
